12-month training curriculum
A year-long education in zero-budget startup marketing: content, community, SEO, and analytics study with supervised campaign practice and weekly feedback from the founder. You learn what actually moves the needle when money is not the answer.
Part-time, about 10 to 15 hours a week, fully remote. Weekly 1:1 mentorship with the founder. Personal learning plan set in week 1 and reviewed monthly.
Phase 1: Foundations (weeks 1 to 4)
Week 1: findlucid mission, members, and honest growth
- Study findlucid's mission, who the members are, and the brand voice: honest, direct, no games.
- Learn the marketing rules: no purchased lists, no spam, no fake accounts, no deceptive claims.
- Meet your mentor, agree on your weekly schedule, and write your personal learning plan.
- Read the intern handbook and the membership messaging rules (FindLucid Plus, FindLucid Founding Member, and banner frequency limits).
Week 2: Channels and the zero-budget playbook
- Study the channels findlucid can use for free: social, community, partnerships, SEO, word of mouth.
- Learn how findlucid describes FindLucid Plus and FindLucid Founding Member memberships accurately, with no overpromising.
- Exercise: audit findlucid's current public presence and write up what you notice.
- Shadow a campaign planning session with the founder.
Week 3: Content and copy
- Study findlucid's tone and practice writing in it: short, warm, specific, no hype.
- Learn the banner frequency rules: health banners shown at most twice per member, no selling member data ever.
- Exercise: draft five sample social posts and have them critiqued line by line.
- Learn basic design tools for social assets (Canva or Figma) if you are new to them.
Week 4: Reading the numbers
- Learn the metrics that matter: signups, activation, retention, and where members come from.
- Study how to read a simple analytics report and explain what changed in plain words.
- Exercise: write a one-page read of a sample analytics snapshot.
- Phase 1 checkpoint review with your mentor and updated learning plan.
Phase 2: Guided practice (months 2 to 3)
Month 2: Content calendar practice

- First portfolio piece: a complete practice campaign plan with calendar, copy, and measurement.
