Pioneering LGBTQ+ activists share firsthand accounts of the early days of post-Stonewall activism in 1969-1972 New York City, with live readings, Q&A, and a book sale. Gay Liberation Front members Perry Brass, Mark Horn, Karla Jay, Mark Segal, Martha Shelley, and Allen Young bring to life the social upheaval, political activism, and cultural transformation that followed the June 1969 Stonewall Rebellion, in the room at 51 Christopher Street where it began.
