New York's 53rd annual Village Halloween Parade, the largest public Halloween celebration in the United States, steps off up Sixth Avenue from Canal Street to 15th Street. The 2026 theme is Body & Soul, considering the relationship between our physical and increasingly digital lives, with downtown performance artist Joey Arias as Grand Marshal and the new opening spectacle Firehorse by Basil Twist. Anyone in costume can march for free (lineup at Sixth Avenue and Canal Street, 6:30-9:00 PM), and watching from the sidelines is free; no ticket is required to attend or participate. Televised live on NY1 from 8 PM.
